1977 VEILED FACE SCULPTURE

The “Veiled Face” is a 1977 sculpture by celebrated Polish artist Igor Mitoraj, crafted in patinated silver and alloy. The piece depicts a face wrapped in folds of fabric, evoking a sense of mystery. It rests on a black wood base and bears the sculptor’s signature, “Igor Mitoraj,” on the reverse. Also inscribed are the foundry markings: "Bonne Année 1977 Bouillet Christofle France", referencing its casting by the French silversmith Christofle in collaboration with the Bouillet foundry.
