Melinda Risk is a jewelry designer whose creations merge traditional metalsmithing with fine art techniques and a deeply personal visual vocabulary. Working from her Indiana studio, she hand-crafts each piece using methods such as carving, casting, enameling, granulation, and fabrication with materials ranging from 22k and 18k gold, silver, gemstones, porcelain, glass and bone. Each work is shaped as a wearable sculpture, a small story you carry with you.
