BELOW IS THE SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY FOR ONLINE SALES ONLY.
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT IN-STORE PURCHASES PLEASE CALL THE STORE YOU PURCHASED FROM TO UNDERSTAND OUR IN-STORE RETURN POLICY. 
We operate in Pacific Standard Time Zone. If your order is placed after 2:30pm, your shipping option will be impacted.
Items are shipped via Fedex. Rates are Domestic and USD.

These items must be insured—we cover the shipping insurance, but all duties, taxes, and related costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Large items can be shipped; however, shipping fees will vary based on size and destination.

Orders placed after 12:00 noon Friday will be processed Monday.

We do not refund shipping fees. 
RETURNS:

If you would like to request an exchange or refund, please note that our return policy allows for returns within 10 days of your delivery date. Returned items must be received by Maxfield LA no later than 10 days after delivery.

To ensure your return arrives on time, we recommend initiating the return process within 5 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, returns received outside of this window will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.


To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, in the original packaging, in resalable condition.
if an item is listed final sale, it is excluded from being returned.

certain categories are final sale and cannot be returned, including: 
  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • Software or vinyl record that has been opened
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 10 days after delivery
  • Sale Items, Jewelry, Vintage, Sunglasses, Swimwear, Hosiery, Furniture, Objects, Fragrances, most items in Maxfield Private Collection.
How to Complete your Return (if applicable)
To initiate a return, please email us at returns@maxfieldla.com with your order number and proof of purchase to request a return label.

Do not send your item(s) back to the manufacturer.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original form of payment within 5–10 business days.

Please note: original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Exchanges (if applicable)
Exchanges are only offered for defective or damaged items. If you need to exchange your item for the same one, please contact us at returns@maxfieldla.com and we will guide you through the process.

For weekend inquiries, kindly allow time for a response the following Monday.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received your refund:
  1. Recheck your bank account.
  2. Contact your credit card company—processing time may vary.
  3. Contact your bank, as posting delays can occur.

If you’ve done all of the above and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at returns@maxfieldla.com.


Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return—provided the item is eligible for return based on our policy above. Once your return is received, a gift certificate will be either mailed to you or sent virtually.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, the refund will be issued to the gift giver, who will also be notified of the return.
