Sophie Bille Brahe
Born in Copenhagen, fine jewellery designer Sophie Bille Brahe was raised with a deep respect for craft and storytelling. After training in the traditional ways as a goldsmith, Sophie graduated from London’s prestigious Royal College of Arts with a master’s. She returned to Copenhagen in 2011 to establish her eponymous jewellery brand which is now sold in some of the world’s most esteemed luxury and fine jewellery spaces and stores, from Dover Street Market to Bergdorf Goodman.
Inspired by the point in the horizon where the ocean meets the sky, Sophie Bille Brahe revisits classical motifs in jewellery through the lens of her Scandinavian minimalist sensibility. Through her collections, she tells her everlasting love story with the mystical nature of the night sky, as she imagines diamonds as shining stars and pearls as the moon. Sophie Bille Brahe thrives to display the raw unadorned beauty of the precious stones and freshwater pearls she exclusively works with.

Maxfield welcomes renowned Danish jewelry designer Sophie Bille Brahe for a special in-store experience celebrating her signature universe of modern heirlooms.
From April 20 through May 16, discover a curated presentation of her fine jewelry, thoughtfully displayed alongside Murano glass vessels. Known for her delicate balance of minimalism and romance, Bille Brahe’s pieces evoke a quiet elegance rooted in craftsmanship and timeless design.
In celebration of her visit, Maxfield will host an exclusive meet and greet with the designer on April 21 from 3 to 4 PM at the Los Angeles location. This intimate moment offers clients the opportunity to connect with Sophie and experience her work through her own perspective.
Continuing the celebration into May, Maxfield honors Mother’s Day with a special floral activation. From May 8 through May 10, clients who make a purchase will receive a complimentary flower bouquet, a gesture that echoes the softness and femininity at the heart of Bille Brahe’s collections.
The activation will take place at both Maxfield Los Angeles and Maxfield Malibu, inviting guests to experience the brand’s world through both jewelry and florals.
