In the first of three AMIRI Autumn-Winter 2019 campaign stories, we’re introduced to a new cast of characters who embody the brand’s steadfast spirit. Captured during a studio sitting in LA with photographer Dan Jack- son, these dynamic faces – Amanda Googe, Jackson Oller, Timur Muharemovic, Skylar Tartz Alpha Dia – are framed against a pure white backdrop. Showcasing the men's and women's collections in unison, a blend of close-up and full-length portraits place emphasis on rhythm, attitude and silhouette – cinematically spotlighting the spirit of each character in tune with Creative Director Mike Amiri’s signature LA rock ‘n’ roll imprint. Elsewhere, this set of characters are afforded the time to truly explore their movements in a series of slow- motion moving imagery; bringing the collection’s artisanal design details to the fore while embodying an elevated headspace and romantic signature. Riffing on the idea of escapism as a creative recharge, this season took the AMIRI man and woman beyond their native LA streets and into the unknown. Grounded in escape, these rock 'n' roll soul-searchers sought out nature’s touch. Wrapped in leather perfectos, handkerchief hem dresses and military-inspired wool out- erwear, beaded musical notation read across jackets while artistic desires surfaced as delicate bugle-beaded manuscripts, starburst studs and crystal-strewn satin.
